The Lake at the end of the World is a folk song in the pre-columbian oral tradition of South America. It is a story about the son of the Inca who becomes ill and can only be healed by the water from the Lake at the End of the World. One brave child takes the journey to find the lake and brings the water to restore the health of the son of the Inca.
